Denise Ham is sought by serious students of conducting the world over, many of them as a result of seeing her unique instructional video, “The Craft of Conducting”.
She is renowned for equipping conductors with an effective technique and for helping to solve the physical and musical problems they face. Her teaching is based on the Toscanini/Barzin technique - a comprehensive technique that applies to any ensemble - orchestras, choirs, bands - and to amateur and professional ensembles alike.

Denise Ham
HonARAM, ARCM, GTCL, LTCL is one of Europe's foremost teachers of
conducting, much in demand as a director of courses and workshops.
Director of London Conducting Academy, tutor at the internationally renowned George Hurst Conductors’ Course at Sherborne Summer School of Music, and formerly tutor in conducting at the Royal Academy of Music in London, she has also trained and conducted orchestras in the UK and Europe.
